NARRATION NOTES: This was my first foray into the Just Cause universe and I don't regret a second of it. Healy's writing is clear, action packed, and he doesn't skimp on emotional character scenes either. Which gives me room to play as the narrator. There are many characters and I had fun finding each of their distinct voices. The action scenes allowed me to sculpt the timing and pace of the book into one that holds a listener's attention the entire time.

Voice Over notes: This was a great job. It really made me think about the emotional nuances in each word and sentence. I believe it came out well.

NARRATION NOTES: One of my first professional audiobooks, Royally Wedded, was a delight to produce. The emotions of the characters allowed me to go for it; embody the emotional trials and triumphs of their journey.

“You’ve heard the rumors,” Mustang says, looking at Ed over the top of his latest report, “about the angels.”

Ed scoffs and rolls his eyes, “Angels don’t exist, don’t be ridiculous.”

“Of course, of course,” he murmurs, gaze sliding back down, “There have been multiple eye witness accounts, however.”

Ed slouches into the chair and doesn’t bother to keep the contempt to from his voice when he says, “Don’t depend on anything with wings to save you. Things that were made to leave always end up doing so, in the end.”

“Yes, well,” he says, “sometimes they come back.”

PODFICCER NOTES: This is currently my (self evaluated) best work. The narration cadence and subject matter combined to create a gorgeous product.
