BEHIND THE MICROPHONE
WHO AM I
A lifeguard and swimming instructor by day, I have been recording non-commercial audiobooks for over 7 years and enjoying every moment of it. I first started to explore my interest in audiobooks and voice work when I was young and liked to read books aloud to my younger siblings. Later I watched a lot of cartoons and anime, played a fair amount of video games, and became interested in the voice acting that is inherent in these products. This is my time and space to take this hobby into the professional realm.
WHAT I DO
With seven years of experience recording non-commercial audiobooks of self-published short stories and novels, and half a year of professional audiobook woork; I have a great deal of experience and enthusiasm for the medium. I have completed projects up to 55 hours long. I record, edit, and produce all of my work.
My voice is authoritative and energetic. I can inject life into the driest of subject matter and make it fun, which makes me great for explainer voice overs and non-fiction. I am excellent at shaping phrases and building tension in emotional scenes. I like doing voices for characters.
I have my own home-made studio and a Zoom H2N microphone to really get the best out of my voice and your script or manuscript.
